Fr.
Sean Major-Campbell is an Anglican Priest, an avid human rights advocate and a
public theologian who has served in the Anglican Diocese of Jamaica and the
Cayman Islands for twenty eight years.
During this time he has served in a number of churches, including in the
Cayman Island for nine years, and for 25 years has been known as an activist in
the HIV/AIDS, working particularly with persons living with the AIDS virus
(PLHIV/AIDS).
He
holds a Diploma in Ministerial Studies from the United Theological College of
the West Indies, a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from the University of the West
Indies, and a Master of Arts in Pastoral Psychology and Counselling from St.
Stephen’s (Alberta, Canada). He remains committed to promoting the cause of
human rights and justice, believing in equal rights for all. He has openly defended the rights of the LBGTQ
and in 2017 received the award of “Ally of the Year for Advancing the
Protection of LGBT Persons Around the Globe”
