The
Rev Dr. Dave Gosse is a Senior lecturer in the Institute of Caribbean Studies,
University of the West Indies, UWI (Mona) and formerly taught numerous courses
in the Department of History and Archaeology, UWI (Mona). He is a graduate of Howard University and has
authored a book on “Abolition and Plantation Management in Early Nineteenth
Century Jamaica, 1807-1838”, along with journal articles and encyclopedia
entries. His current book on Alexander
Bedward, will shortly be published by UWI Press.
He
is the Coordinator of the foundation course in the Faculty of Humanities and
Education, “Caribbean Civilization”, the Chairman of the Board of Management of
the Ardenne High School and Pastor of the Whitfield Town Church of God
